Welcome Deer Park High School students and parents/guardians! I am Kelli Demarest and I am proud and honored to be a Business and Technology teacher at Deer Park High School. I have been in education for eight years now, following eight years as an accountant.  I love working with high school students mainly because I can see their growth from freshman to senior year, and ultimately see them graduate and achieve success in life.

Currently, I teach Digital Design, Advanced Digital Design, Digital Communication Tools (Digi-Tools), and Accounting.  You are eligible to earn free college credits from the Community Colleges of Spokane in all of my classes. Digital Design (the main course I teach) is a great class to learn about the widely used software in the Graphic Design industry, as well as a way to learn how to create your own web sites, and artwork/designs without having to hire someone to do it for you. We also cover design principles and how the right design layout/scheme can attract or detract the eye.
