THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT FOR BOARD MEMBERS

In keeping with the need for continuing training and development to enhance effective boardsmanship, the board encourages the participation of its members at appropriate board conferences, workshops and conventions. Funds for participation at such meetings will be budgeted for on an annual basis.

Persons newly elected in November of an election year to the board of directors of the Deer Park School District No. 414, may be designated to attend the Annual Conference of the Washington State School Directors' Association, typically held in November, as representatives of the district.

Money will be made available to purchase support materials as needed.
