INSTRUCTION DIVERSITY-MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION

 

The board recognizes that our school district functions within a community comprised of unique and multifaceted individuals.

To this end, the board is committed to and supportive of the following:

A.

Reinforcement of the Inherent dignity and the equal and inalienable rights of all students and staff as stated in the U.S. and Washington State Constitutions.

B.

Awareness of the right of all students to have equal access to education and to be treated equitably.

C.

A quality education for all students that includes appreciation and respect for human individuality with cultural differences and similarities which contribute to our democratic nation as a whole, and more particularly the contributions that make up our community.
