MANAGEMENT SUPPORT BUILDING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

 

The district shall provide for an adequate and trained staff of custodians and maintenance personnel. The operation and care of each facility and its equipment shall be the primary responsibility of the custodians assigned to it.

The Operations and Maintenance Manager shall be responsible for the supervision of all custodial, maintenance and grounds personnel.

District facilities shall be periodically inspected by the Operations and Maintenance Manager to assess the condition and operation of all lighting, heating and ventilation, and other mechanical systems. The Operations and Maintenance Manager will, through effective utilization of the custodial and maintenance staffs, seek to insure that all district facilities are clean, safe, and are in compliance with all applicable fire, safety and health codes and standards.

The principals shall, through their staffs and students, seek to keep their facilities as clean and free from damage as is possible.
