Some of Deer Park School District's schools qualify for free breakfasts and lunches based on federal and state eligibility and guidelines. To continue eligibility with the state and federal guidelines, the District needs families to continue filling out specific forms for each of the schools. Deer Park Elementary and Deer Park Middle School are eligible for federal meal programs, whereas Arcadia is eligible for state meal programs.

Please review the Meal Accounting and Collection Procedures here.

For information as it relates to food services (breakfast, lunch, and milk) and your child's school, please review the packets below. Each school/program has different guidelines depending on the state/federal eligibility requirements.

Please refer to each of the different sites for the free and reduced meal packets:

Packets need to be returned to our Nutrition Services Office: 321 S. Colville Ave. For questions or inquiries, call Dru Gibson at 509-464-5545 or email dru.gibson@dpsdmail.org.

The Deer Park School District partners with Sodexo to serve nutritious breakfasts and lunches to the students throughout the district; schools are a key setting in which we can teach and nurture healthy nutrition and physical activity strategies.  Cooks at each school prepare meals for the students in their building, allowing for fresh, hot meals and individualized attention.

Deer Park High School offers a variety of hot lunches as well as ala carte items. All meals meet federal nutrition requirements.

Free and reduced price meals are provided for children whose family size and monthly gross income meet USDA Child Nutrition Program Income Guidelines. Parents may enroll their children at any time during the school year. Applications are available at each school office. Families qualifying for reduced price meals receive the reduced price of $.40 for lunch.

Regular School Lunch Pricing is as follows:

  • Breakfast is offered to all students at no charge.

  • Grades 9-12 Lunch:  $3.35/day

  • Each building offers milk  priced at .45

Reminder: students accessing the free lunch program receive a milk as a part of the free lunch.  However, if a student on the free lunch program brings a cold lunch yet wants a milk, the student will be asked to pay .45  for that milk.
