First Ever Home Link Poetry Slam - Mrs. Wacker's Academic Writing class

Power has been restored at Home Link: both DP & Clayton.
Great news! Power has been restored at the MS & HS buildings. We are still waiting for Home Link - DP and Clayton to be restored.
Deer Park Families -
Currently Deer Park Middle school, Deer Park High school, & Home Link (DP & Clayton) are out of power. A main breaker is out. Avista is working on it. Phones are down as well. Students are safe and school is being conducted as usual. We are hopeful power is restored soon.
Deer Park Elementary students enjoyed safely viewing the solar eclipse on Monday. Many thanks to Autumn Mackret's astronomy class for the eclipse photo!

Dear Deer Park Voters,
On behalf of the Deer Park School District, we would like to thank our community for supporting the renewal Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy. While we are grateful the levy passed, the bond did not. We are inviting members of the Deer Park community to provide anonymous feedback on the bond. Please take a moment to answer a few short questions to help us determine the next steps and how we can best address the growth in Deer Park. Your input and voice matters.

Early election results show that our Educational Programs and Operations Levy is likely passing, but our Capital Projects Bond might not reach enough votes needed for approval. Levies require 50%+1 voter approval and Bonds need 60% voter approval to pass. We are grateful to our voters and community. While we had hoped to see both measures pass, we know that this is a challenging time for school funding. Special thanks to the Committee to Support Deer Park Schools and their hard work and efforts with communication. The Facilities Advisory Committee and staff will be working on the next steps, and we will share information and updates as soon as they are available. For more information about our levy replacement and bond and what they fund, please see https://www.dpsd.org/page/bond-levy-information.
