"There is a quiet confidence in Deer Park, Washington, the kind of confidence that comes from a community that understands exactly what it is and what it hopes to become. Located just north of Spokane, Deer Park has long offered residents a slower pace of life, surrounded by natural beauty, open space, and a strong sense of community. Today, however, the city is entering a new era of expansion..."

Our Spanish and French language travelers arrived in Paris in the middle of a historic heat wave—apparently the day before their arrival was the hottest ever recorded in France! Despite the soaring temperatures, the Deer Park group embraced every opportunity to explore, learn, and experience French culture firsthand.
📍 Photo 1: In front of the iconic Eiffel Tower
📍 Photo 2: At the beautiful Palais du Luxembourg, once a royal residence and now home to the French Senate
📍 Photo 3: Enjoying the stunning Luxembourg Gardens, a favorite gathering place for locals and visitors alike
After spending the past few days exploring the south of France, the group is now headed to Barcelona for the next leg of their adventure. We can't wait to see where their travels take them next!
Bon voyage and safe travels to our amazing students and staff!

Porter also received overall 5th place high individual livestock senior judge and 5th place overall in oral reasons.
Way to go Stags! We are proud of you!

A proud Deer Park graduate and parent of three Deer Park graduates, Director Keller's commitment to our schools runs deep. He has spent nearly two decades advocating for students, supporting staff, engaging with our community, and ensuring that every decision made was centered on what is best for kids.
Whether attending athletic events, community celebrations, Facilities Advisory Committee meetings, WSSDA conferences, or legislative meetings, Director Keller has consistently been a champion for public education and a tireless advocate for Deer Park schools. Even after his own children graduated, he continued showing up because his dedication has always been about serving all students.
His leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and unwavering support have left a lasting impact on our district. He truly bleeds blue and gold.
On behalf of our students, staff, families, and community, thank you for your years of service, your leadership, and your heart for Deer Park.
We wish you all the best as you spend more time with your wife, children, grandchildren, and yes—even the farm animals!
Thank you, Eric Keller, for helping make Deer Park a better place for generations of students.

Even with a little wet weather, Field Day 2026 was an absolute blast! From the classic parachute in the gym and high-energy indoor bowling to epic tug-o-war battles and rock climbing, our students brought the energy. We even braved the elements for some messy outdoor water games before cooling off with popsicles inside! 🍧✨
Huge shoutout to our amazing staff and volunteers for pivoting so fast and making today unforgettable. Our kids definitely proved that a little rain just makes the memories sweeter!

At the fire station, students rotated through a variety of hands-on learning stations led by firefighters. This year, they even had the opportunity to tour both an ambulance and a fire truck. After a fun and educational morning, students enjoyed pizza generously donated by our amazing PTCA and shared lunch together at Perrin’s Field.
