How much will my taxes increase if the levy is passed? The short-term, 4-year capital levy is estimated to cost $1.45/$1,000 assessed value. The current bond, which will be paid off after this year, is assessed at $1.03/$1,000. If approved, tax rates would increase by $0.42/$1,000 over current levels for four years. It was fantastic to welcome families to our school, share in laughter and conversations, and strengthen the bonds that make our community thrive.

Events like the family picnic are more than just fun—they are opportunities to connect, collaborate, and build the relationships that help every student flourish.

Did you know that the 42-acre parcel, currently owned by the city, was identified as being the last available site within city limits that could reasonably serve to support a future school site? Students discussed how being respectful looks in the classroom and why listening is just as important as speaking. Each student reflected on their own behavior and completed a thoughtful writing assignment: “Instead of being an interrupting chicken, I will…” 📝💡

Ron not only ensures our buses—valued at over $250,000 each—are meticulously maintained and earn a 100% rating from the Washington State Patrol safety check ✅, but he also goes above and beyond for our staff and grounds. He is ALWAYS positive and willing to do what it takes to make sure everyone is taken care of.
Every morning, he arrives early to make sure buses are ready for drivers and our dirt parking lot is as safe as possible. His dedication keeps our students safe and our operations running smoothly. Thank you for all you do for our district and community, Ron! 💛
