Highlights from Knowledge Bowl and National Honor Society at DPHS!
Our Knowledge Bowl Team recently competed in regionals at Whitworth University and now are headed to state competition Friday, March 10th in Wenatchee! Way to Go Knowledge Bowl Team and coach, Stacey Brown!
The Deer Park Chapter of the National Honor Society held its induction ceremony for new members on March 6. The NHS requires that its members be formally inducted. Its criteria for membership is: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA, and be selected by a faculty council regarding the other three criteria.
These students were inducted.
Seniors: Abbi Arleth, Ivan Bogle, Holly Clark, Chloe Crandell, Brooklyn Dryden, Paige Hamilton, Aaron Harris, Avery Hodgson, Hannah Krantz, Layne Lathrop, Ruby Solomon, and Owen Varang.
Juniors: Emma Adams, Liam Bogle, Alayna Demir, Sasha Freibott, Michael Gilbert, and Kaidyn Kemper.
The seniors also received their NHS honor stole for graduation.
