DPMS Announcements!
Good afternoon DPMS families. I hope this message finds you well and enjoying spring. Here are a few updates and reminders for the week ahead.
- Chromebooks! Every student at DPMS has a district issued Chromebook. Much of our school curriculum is online and teachers use Google Classroom to assign school work. Students MUST bring their CHARGED Chromebook to school every day! This is so important for a successful day at school for your child. Please help us by asking them to bring the Chromebook home daily and charge it at night. Thank you!
- Wednesday is once again a late start. Buses run and school starts ONE HOUR late on Wednesday, 4/24.
- This Friday is our 3rd quarter awards ceremony. If your child is slated to receive an award you will receive another email with the details of the assembly!
Friday, April 26th - DPMS Awards Assemblies:
6th - 12:40
7th - 1:25
8th - 2:10

IMUA!
Greetings! With Spring Break right around the corner, and spring conferences upon us, the DPMS will once again be hosting our Spring Open House Celebration of Learning on Wednesday, March 27th from 4:30 - 7:30 in lieu of a more traditional conference.
Students need to bring their Chromebook …please!
During the Open House, all staff will be available for drop-ins, student work will be on display, musical ensembles will be performing and 6th grade families will have their Camp Reed information night 6:00-6:30 in the Cafeteria). Students must be accompanied by an adult and will start in Flex where they will get an Open House “Passport”, review their fall digital portfolio, look at 3rd quarter grades on Skyward and get Language Arts and Math growth data. In addition, to encourage attendance, students may enter a drawing for a gift basket (10 per grade level) by getting at least eight “Passport” locations stamped at classrooms and activities attended with an adult. Hope to see you there!
*Parking also available in the northside bus loop with middle side entrance*
In addition, our teachers, administration and counselor have collaborated and are scheduling conferences for specific individual students. If you feel like you need to schedule a conference with your child’s teachers (in addition to the ability to drop-in on Wednesday night), please contact our counselor, Mrs. Byers or your child’s Flex teacher.
